The Chair of Process Control Engineering operates on a total site area of 600m2 in a university building that was erected in 1992. In addition to office space, a technical library and two seminar rooms, our chair is also furnished with laboratories for process control equipment and technology.
The Chair was supported by generous contributions of the German and European manufacturing industry including technical and scientific equipment. The process control equipment consists of process control systems as well as sensor- and actuator systems by different manufactures. These systems are continuously updated in order to represent the current industrial state-of-the-art.
The personal computers, workstations, process control systems, programmable logic controllers and other automation systems are integrated into a shared network via ACPLT/KS.

Due to generous support from within the German industry, the Chair of Process Control Engineering is equipped with a number of industrial process control- and automation systems.
The process control equipment is supported and complemented by sensor- and actuator systems of different international manufacturers.
These systems and the process control equipment are utilized for teaching purposes during the practical courses that are offered by our chair. These practical courses are received with great enthusiasm by our students.
At this point we would like to reiterate our thanks to all our supporters.
